Blog/April 28, 2017

For our site visitors who aren’t yet following us on Twitter or Facebook – here are some highlights from the past week on social media from Veterans Matter.

We…

… got our “Thank Yous!” out to donors and fundraisers of the Mercy Health Glass City Marathon. It was a privilege to be among the other Charity Partners of the race – we can’t wait to get out there and do it again next year!

… Wished the U.S. Army Reserve a Happy 109th Birthday. Over a century of serving our nation – Thank You All!

… Reminded everyone to #PurpleUp, April is Month of the Military Child and we know the importance of supporting children of military members, and veterans – especially the 561 children of formerly homeless veterans that are living in permanent housing thanks to advocates like YOU!

… Shared a little Veterans Matter history.

… Gave a little shout out to our advocates Emerson Drive – how cool can we get with these amazing advocates!?

… Let everyone know they too can help end veteran homelessness. Veterans Matter is a proud partner of the U.S. Dept. of Veteran Affairs and we like to share their resources too!

… Announced the limited availability of our Disco Party tickets. You can still get yours at www.veteransmatter.org/disco! If you already got your tickets, chances are they’re in the mail!
