Light a Virtual Candle in Honor of our Nation’s Fallen Heroes this Memorial Day

TOLEDO, OHIO– Join Veterans Matter, a non-profit dedicated to housing our nation’s homeless veterans, in remembering all of the service men and women who gave their lives fighting for our freedom this Memorial Day.

With a donation of any amount, you can create an online memorial and light a virtual candle in memory of a fallen service member. Veterans Matter will create a personalized “Memorial Candle” image with the name, rank, branch of service, and dates of service for your veteran. The candle will be posted on their website’s Memorial Wall as a perpetual memorial to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. Visit to light a candle in memory of a fallen hero.

To date, the National Homeless Veterans Housing Program has helped house more than 3,700 veterans and their families nationwide. “We will never quit fighting for our veterans, just as they never quit fighting for us.” says Ken Leslie, the organization’s founder and Advocate-in-Chief.
