National Exchange Club Advocate of the Year

Veterans Matter has named Bonny Clark as its 2020 Exchange Club Advocate of the Year. Bonny has served as a member of the Anderson Noon Exchange Club in Anderson, Indiana for over 20 years and was named the National Exchange Member of the Year in 2019.

In 2014, Veterans Matter partnered with the National Exchange Club to help house homeless veterans. Since then, Bonny has spent countless hours developing innovative and creative fundraisers and events in support of Veterans Matter’s mission to house homeless Indiana veterans.

“Her passion for homeless veterans continues to expand and develop ideas which will help us reach our ultimate goals! Every opportunity to serve her community and work for the housing of our Veterans is taken seriously, well thought-out, and successful,” says Jeffry Young, Lawrence, Indiana Exchange Club member and Region 7 National Exchange Club Vice President.

Bonny has been the driving force behind several creative fundraisers and events benefiting Veterans Matter throughout the past 6 years, including the Fill the Boot Veteran’s Day fundraiser, Field of Honor Yellow Ribbon campaign, and Homes for Homeless Heroes donation drive, to name a few. She hopes to raise $25,000 with her most recent fundraiser benefiting Veterans Matter’s Cardboard 2 Headboard campaign.

Tracey Edwards, National Exchange Club CEO also offered congratulations to Bonny. “Bonny is well known for her commitment to Exchange, and her heart to help homeless veterans. She has been creative in developing ways to raise money to support this cause that is so dear to Exchange. Bonny is recognized as a dedicated member, and in fact she was the 2019 Exchange Club Member of the Year! We join you in offering our congratulations to Bonny on this honor, and our gratitude for her efforts and commitment to the cause.”

The Anderson Noon Exchange Club is offering a chance to win several prizes, including a case of wine, golf outing entry fee, as well as a cash prize, in exchange for a tax-deductible donation.
