To support the mission of the Veterans Matter National Housing Program and help house 1000 more veterans in 2019, CUMULUS MEDIA & Westwood One have donated two tickets to the 2019 ACM Awards held on April 7 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. This pair of tickets is up for auction at now through midnight Pacific Standard Time on March 29, 2019.
“Country Music’s Party of the Year,” the ACM Awards honors and showcases the biggest names and rising talent in country music, including a special presentation of the Dick Clark Artist of the Decade Award. Hosted by Reba McEntire, the show will feature live performances by Dierks Bentley, Kelly Clarkson, Eric Church, Brooks & Dunn, Miranda Lambert, the Brothers Osborne, Chris Stapleton, Little Big Town, and George Strait! The star-studded list of additional performers and presenters continues to grow as the evening approaches.
This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to be a part of music history while helping to provide a home for heroes in need.
To-date, the Veterans Matter Housing Program has placed over 2,780 veterans, including 966 of their children, into safe, permanent housing. Working with the Urban Housing Development and Veterans Affairs, Veterans Matter quickly and efficiently provides rental deposits veterans need in order to be placed in housing they’re already approved for but can’t afford the deposit.
The Veterans Matter Housing Program has a 100% success rate and all proceeds from this auction will immediately go toward housing a veteran in need. While the highest bidder takes in the glitz of Vegas and sits among country music’s biggest stars, their benevolent act of recapturing the life of a veteran will last a lifetime. These tickets come directly from radio broadcasting industry leaders CUMULUS MEDIA & Westwood One and will be personally given to the winner in Las Vegas. The winner is responsible for their own travel and hotel.
