Thanks to Americans who rallied up nationwide, our record 2020 allowed us to expand to housing veterans in 29 states. We are moving into Q2 2021 with significant momentum and seek to expand to house our unhoused veterans across the rest of the nation.

To accomplish this, we want to find exceptional people to fit into a fast paced, ever evolving, entrepreneurial organization dedicated to assuring every veteran gets a home for the brave in the land of the free.

This is the primary role housing our nation’s veterans.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role coordinates the support between our Veterans, our VA partners and landlords which results in expedited housing of veterans nationwide.

Responsibilities

Coordinate referral process with a focus on speed accuracy and support for VA staff, landlords, and the veterans.

Daily communication with the VA case workers and landlords via phone and email to urgently confirm and execute the housing of their unhoused veterans.

A high level of discernment assisting VA staff in the mission to house veterans and reduce the veteran’s lease-up costs.

Onboarding and Training of new VA Case Workers.

Continuous process improvement, new program expansion, and richer understanding of our role and results.

Potential for local or national event representation, requiring minimal travel.

Assist with other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

A customer service personality, exceptional problem-solving skills, strong experience excel, as well as office systems such as the components of Office 365.

Experience communications documents including welcome emails letters, blog posts, newsletters etc.

Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail – veterans are counting on us

Self-starter and can problem-solve with minimal direction.

Salary Range $25k to $45k

Salary commensurate with experience

Benefits including 2 weeks paid vacation.

We are taking a different approach to corporate engagement. Essentially this is a sales position, and your product is compassion for the veterans abandoned on the streets of our nation.

We base this outreach on our philosophy of by helping partners achieve their goals helps more veterans get housed.

As more companies are recognizing the internal and external value of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs, an increasing number of companies across every industry are seeking to create fulfilling CSR’s.

Research shows a good CSR not only creates consumer and sales benefits, but these initiatives can also help more broadly, such as attracting top talent, engage employees, and improve their brand equity.

This position will be providing this opportunity to local and national companies and organizations by creating unique programs to help them help us house more veterans while working to accomplish internal and external corporate goals.

Responsibilities

Extensive initial contact to local and national companies to arrange phone, zoom, or in-person meetings to identify any channels for mutual and continued engagement through corporate programs as well as sponsorship of local and national events.

Create customized programs to meet the companies and organizations corporate, philanthropic, and marketing needs.

Utilize internal marketing systems for tracking and engagement follow-up.

Requirements are 3+ years in a successful sales/development arena.

Salary $45k – $55k depending on experience.

Salary commensurate with experience

This role supports our external communications and internal organizational advocacy.

Responsibilities

Fulfills market facing touchpoints such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, emails, and ensures content is delivered to appropriate audiences including alliance support.

Responsible for maintaining the accurate parsing of communication channels and lists including the donor acknowledgement and marketing support systems.

Writing communications documents/posts/emails to support campaigns and national alliances and donor acknowledgements.

Meets regularly with the National Communications team and reports progress on initiatives regarding marketing collateral, social results, and future messaging.

Performs internal administrative support duties as assigned.

Required

1) 2 plus years demonstrated successful experience writing communications documents including welcome letters, blog posts, newsletters etc.

2) Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, spelling, and grammar – veterans are counting on us right now.

3) Self-starter and can problem-solve with minimal direction.

4) Exceptional experience with Excel.

Salary $25k – $35k depending on experience.

Salary commensurate with experience
