Restaurant Honors Dad and All Veterans

Sunset Bistro in Bowling Green spent December 13, 2018 raising money to help homeless veterans. 20 % of all of the sales at the restaurant were donated to Veterans Matter.

The money goes toward deposits for homeless veterans to immediately move into a home.

The event holds a special place in the heart of the owner, Prudence Brott.

“We do this in memory of my dad, David Brott. He was a Vietnam veteran, and he passed away December 17th, 2014. So we do this in his name, but we do it in honor of all veterans here in the United States.”

Sunset Bistro will continue to receive donations until December 21. All money and items raised will be delivered to Veterans Matter on December 22.

Thank you to Sunset Bistro for honoring our veterans and for fighting the war against veteran homelessness.
